The Shalom Family Campaign for Justice has undertaken many public appeals for help. From people on the street to elected members of Parliament; Members of the Welsh Assembly Government, the Prime Minister Mr. Tony Blair, and two members of the of the United Kingdom Royal Family, including Princess Anne and Prince Charles.
Prince Charles is President of 'Business In The Community', an organisation which claims to promote, "Responsible Business Practice" and "Corporate Social Responsibility". Wherever the Family raise their, 'campaign for social justice', it is still very much the case that the Family encounter people who ask, "Who Are Crest Nicholson"? For the Shalom Family there was no doubt.
Crest Nicholson Plc surely is the company behind a night time grounding accident to their Family Home and subsequently approved a course of action, which has resulted in the Family suffering a considerable injustice. The Family believe that ultimately, Crest Nicholson Plc is the organisation morally responsible for their entire present circumstances.
The Family with five young daughters have been:-
Dispossessed of their decent, safe and satisfactory Family Home of 14 years.
Made Homeless and forced into massive debts.
Banned by Court Injunction from their own perfectly, sustainable, live-aboard community, and Penarth Marina, in Cardiff Bay.
Denied the return of their entire worldly goods and Family's possessions, which were seized in the eviction process.
Robbed of a beautiful 'way of life'.
On 31st October 2005, the Family delivered a petition to Crest Nicholson Plc at Crest Head Office in Weybridge, Surrey. Addressed to Chairman Mr. John Matthews, it pleads:-
"Above all, we again kindly ask that you and Crest Plc Directors, reconsider the matters of the record between your organisation and us, and again kindly implore you and your organisation to end this nightmare experience for our Family.".
The Family have documented their concerns many times in relation to accurate records and communications kept by, and within, the organisation of Crest Nicholson. The Family have pleaded for the company to investigate the accuracy of the company records, between various individuals and departments, particularly as they apply to the account of their relationship with the Family, their houseboat, and Crest Nicholson Marinas Limited. So far, the company have ignored the Family's requests. It may well be that Crest Nicholson have a communication challenge.
From information provided directly to the Shalom Family, at Crest House on 31st October 2005, two full years since their eviction by 'Crest Nicholson Marinas Limited', it is clear to see why there is good reason to have very grave concerns about the communications and record keeping within the Crest Organisation. There still remains a documented dispute of land ownership in Cardiff Bay. Accordingly, the following information is provided in response to all the enquiries received, ("Who Are Crest Nicholson"?), but visitors to this site are kindly advised that this information is only provided, as duplicated from information's received from Crest House, Crest Nicholson Plc, Thames Street, Weybridge, Surrey, England :
