Notes

  • Mr. John Callcutt took six years before he questioned the 'suitability' of Penarth Marina as a permanent base for our houseboat. But this was only after causing an accident to our Family Home of 14 years.

  • The vessel's "current uninsured status", was only because of it's whole 'condition'.  It was a houseboat known to have suffered a night time grounding incident, directly caused by Crest Nicholson operators. It was then, and only then, unable to attract any insurance, and only because Crest Nicholson would not grant us necessary permissions, to lift our home at site, to get it fixed-to get insurance- to enable us to comply with the marina, "terms and Conditions".

  • "...remove your vessel from the company premises..". This man seems barking mad. A houseboat home, known to have had a bash, which had since developed a leak, was not insured, with nowhere else identified to take it, and no-one prepared to tow it without insurance!? Clearly Mr. Callcutt and Crest Nicholson show a rather unusual kind of 'respect towards our Family, our Home and Way of life, not to mention his poor regard for issues regarding health and safety. You would think that just bashing our boat in the first place would be enough for any moral man or company to act with some decency? Let's face it, we had been his customers for six years already!

  • £10,000 to relocate? Well there it is! Mr. Callcutt's conscience for you! And now he's 'at the helm' of English Partnerships.

  • Relocate where Mr. Callcutt? You never did answer our question but perhaps English Partnerships and others may help you to remember.
