The Magna Carta 'Abuse of Power' Remembered!
April 7th 2006, Crest Nicholson Plc held their AGM at The Runnymede Hotel and Country Spa in Egham Surrey.
In making his enquiries and following a courteous invitation by hotel staff to wait in the 'Angler's Bar' at the Runnymede, acclaimed to be the site of the signing of the Magna Carta by King John, Mr. Vince Shalom retired to the main entrance of the Hotel's fine facility.
Once again and for the third successive year, on behalf of his wife and their five daughters, (evicted by Crest) Vince made peaceful protest, mindful of the total 'abuse of power' of Crest Nicholson, during the reign of Mr. John Callcutt, former Deputy Chair and Chief Executive officer.....................who has abdicated and joined English Partnerships.

Despite his own reported fears of manslaughter, it appears that morally, he could never 'lay his seal', defending Crest Nicholson's Corporate Social Responsibility - in handling this affair, or accept personal accountability, regarding the night time grounding accident, caused to the Family Home of 14 years.

Magna Carta promised laws that were good and fair. It states that everyone shall have access to courts and that costs and money should not be an issue if someone wanted to take a problem to the law courts.
It also states that no freeman will be imprisoned or punished without first going through the proper legal system. In future years the word "freeman" was replaced by "no one" to include everybody.
