Lloyds TSB Welsh Proms St David's Hall Cardiff

Peaceful Pickets 20-29th July 2006

For many people, including Councillor Freda Salway - Rt. Hon. The Lord Major of Cardiff, there is great delight in the news that Lloyds TSB has agreed, "a major three year title sponsorship of the Welsh Proms Cardiff  - demonstrating its confidence and commitment which is greatly valued".

In three years time, Cardiff County Council, members of Business In The Community, and owners of the Cardiff Harbour Authority can look back and decide if the present delight was duly warranted.

Right now, Lloyds TSB Group Plc can look back over the last three years!

Their investments and associations, 'confidence' and 'commitment', with Crest Nicholson Plc, Crest Nicholson Marinas Limited and Quay Marinas Limited, are fully documented to the record. We know how immorally, these companies have behaved in this ultra, heavy-handed Family and Houseboat-Home eviction.

In the days ahead, which seem set to witness beautiful music being performed at a variety of Family events at St David's Hall in Cardiff, we hope that Lloyds TSB Group Plc may reconsider their past position in this matter, perhaps even change their tune!.

A peaceful picket is intended for each part of the schedule of this event, which will invite Ethical Corporations to help this Family Campaign for Social Justice. Including today's opening 'Celebration Prom'.
