Edinburgh and Cardiff Protests Completed
On Thursday 27th and Friday 28th October 2005, Vince Shalom made representations on behalf of the Shalom Family Campaign for Social Justice, to the following institutions:-
Lloyds TSB Group Plc at registered office, Henry Duncan House, George Street, Edinburgh, Scotland and HBOS Plc, Morrison Street, also in Edinburgh. The HBOS registered offices at 'The Mound' are presently under refurbishment, hence the change from plan.
Further public representations were also made at Edinburgh local branches of Lloyds TSB Bank of Scotland (Lloyds TSB ) and Bank of Scotland Corporate (HBOS).
The Family are particularly grateful for the understanding and warm welcome extended to Vince by Bank of Scotland Group Functions, Group Communications Associate Director, Mr. Ross Keany. Indicating to Vince that he was already aware of the Family Campaign for Social Justice and clearly able to demonstrate that he is informed of the issues, he received the Shalom Family's written appeal for help.
On Friday 28th October 2005, the second 'anniversary' of the Shalom Houseboat Eviction by Crest Nicholson, Marie Louise Shalom and her two daughters, Hannah and Naomi made public protest at a Crest Nicholson Housing Development at the Heath, Cardiff.

Monday 31st October the whole Family went to Crest Nicholson Head Office at Thames Street, Weybridge in Surrey to make further desperate appeals directly to the company Chairman Mr. John Matthews and Crest Directors.
Mr. John Callcutt, Chief Executive Officer of Crest Nicholson also retired on this day. After leading the company for over 14 years, the Chief Executive, who was solely responsible for implementing health and safety in the Crest Nicholson Group, 'steps sideways' to become Deputy Chair of Crest Plc. John Callcutt was in office at the time the company caused a night-time grounding 'accident' to the Shalom Family houseboat home. Their only Home of 14 years.
